About The Event
****We have sold out in the Ballroom! We will have plenty of bowls for purchase at a discount so that you can still support us, and thank Lewis River Golf for hosting, by convening to the main floor of the clubhouse to the North Fork Grill where they serve drinks, live music and a distinctive Northwest dining experience.
The "Empty Bowls" initiative is a global endeavor aimed at combating hunger, which is brought to life by artists and art institutions at a grassroots level within communities. Originating in 1990 through the efforts of Lisa Blackburn and art educator John Hartom, the project was conceived during a fundraising campaign in Michigan to support hunger relief efforts.
Statistics reveal that 1 in 10 individuals in our state face food insecurity, uncertain about their next meal.
